This unique volunteering role is designed for those who cannot commit to the extensive time requirements of a peer leader but still wish to make a meaningful contribution to our community.

📋 Support Volunteer Responsibilities

As a PLTL Support Volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in the behind-the-scenes operations of our program, including:

  • Setting up and coordinating events 🎉
  • Assisting staff members with various tasks 📚
  • Providing support at the PLTL office 🏢
  • Engaging in additional tasks based on your interests and skills ✨

How to Apply

Joining our team is a selective process aimed at ensuring our support volunteers possess a strong work ethic, good moral character, and a commitment to contributing positively to our program. We’ve streamlined the application process to make it easier for you to express your interest in becoming a part of our community. Here’s how you can apply:

  1. Fill Out the Application Form: Begin your journey by completing our application form available at https://forms.office.com/r/mTnqfVZbP4. The form will guide you through providing the necessary information, including any relevant experience you wish to share with us.
  2. Submission Review: Once submitted, our current Program Volunteer Coordinator, Lauralis Correa, will be notified of your application. She will review your submission and assess your fit for the volunteer program.
  3. Follow-Up: Await further instructions as Lauralis Correa will reach out to you with the next steps in the application process. This may include an interview, additional information requests, or direct guidance on how you can start your volunteering journey with us.

Reporting Hours

  • Support Volunteers report their hours by filling out a document which will be provided by the program volunteering coordinator.
  • A comprehensive record of each volunteer’s hours is maintained and reported to the designated program assistant.
  • A total of volunteer hours is calculated at the end of each semester.
